| Sophia joined the lab end of 2023 for her MD/PhD. She studied medicine in Heidelberg and did her medical thesis with Michael Lanzer working on Plasmodium falciparum. At HiFo she aims to develop novel models of human neural cell aging to characterise the molecular mechanisms underlying brain aging. |
